This Privacy Notice explains how Pay Ten Global Technology LLC (hereinafter referred to as “Pay10”, “we” or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects Personal Data through our website in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). 

By using our website or submitting an inquiry through our website, you acknowledge that your Personal Data may be processed as described in this Privacy Notice. 

2. Definitions

Across this Notice, we will be using some important definitions: 

  • Affiliates means any legal entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common ownership or control with Pay10. This includes companies that share the same direct or indirect shareholder(s), ultimate beneficial owner(s), or management control as Pay10. 
  • Applicable Law means all laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, and binding guidance applicable to the Processing of Personal Data, including without limitation applicable data protection and privacy laws in the United Arab Emirates and any other jurisdiction where Personal Data is Processed. 
  • Personal Data means any data or information that relates to an individual and which could, of itself or in combination with other data or information, identify who an individual is; 
  • Process or Processing means the collection, storage, use or transfer of Personal Data; 

3. Personal Data We Collect

We collect Personal Data through the following methods: 

1. Inquiry Form 

When you submit a question, request information, or complete a questionnaire on our website, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, telephone number, company name, and any information you choose to provide in your message or questionnaire responses. 

2. Cookies and Website Analytics 

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar technologies, including: 

  • IP address; 
  • Browser type and version; 
  • Device information; 
  • Website usage data; 
  • Pages visited; and 
  • Date and time of access.

We process Personal Data for the following purposes:

Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device. 

7. Disclosure and Sharing of Personal Data

We may disclose Personal Data to: 

1. Affiliates- for purposes consistent with this Privacy Notice, including responding to inquiries, business administration, customer relationship management, operational support, and the provision of information or services relevant to your inquiry. 

2. Service Providers- third-party service providers that assist us in operating our website and business, including: 

  • Website hosting providers; 
  • Information technology service providers; 
  • Analytics providers; 
  • research partners, including those performing surveys or research projects in partnership with Pay10 or on Pay10’s behalf to send you communications (including digital) required by law or to send you survey and feedback requests to help improve our website; 
  • Cloud storage service providers; and 
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and consultants. 

3. If we otherwise notify you and you consent to the sharing; 

4. With third parties in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company. 

5. Legal and Regulatory Authorities- Government authorities, courts, regulators, law enforcement agencies, or other parties where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law. 

We do not sell Personal Data to third parties. 

Any third party receiving personal data are expected to process it only for authorized purposes and to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security measures. 

If you wish to change how we use your Personal Data, you can do so at any time. You will find details in Section 10(i) (Data Subject Rights), Section 10(ii) (Marketing – Opting-In and Opting-Out), and Section 14 (Contact Us) below. 

8. International Transfers

Personal Data may be transferred to and processed by our Affiliates or service providers located outside the United Arab Emirates. 

Where Personal Data is transferred outside the United Arab Emirates, we will take appropriate measures to protect your Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Notice and ensure that the data receives an adequate level of protection in accordance with applicable local legal requirements. 

9. Data Retention

We will store and retain your Personal Data for the period necessary for the purpose described in this Notice, unless the nature of the purpose changes in which case the retention period may be extended or shortened, all in accordance with Applicable Laws. 

Apart from the purposes for which we collect your Personal Data, we also store and retain this Personal Data to preserve the integrity of our databases, for research, analytics and statistics purposes and to ensure compliance with Applicable Laws and regulations. 

Following a deletion request (where warranted in accordance with the data subject rights referred to below), we will erase or archive from active use the Personal Data of the individual to which the requirement or request relates, unless we are required to retain it due to legal or regulatory requirements, for the purposes of safety, security, and fraud prevention.  

When Personal Data is no longer required, it will be securely deleted, anonymized, or otherwise disposed of in accordance with our retention practices. 

10. Your Rights and Choices

(i) Data Subject Rights 

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to: 

  • Request access to your personal data. If the information you request reveals personal data about a third party, we will: (i) seek that individual’s consent before responding to your request; (ii) consider if it is otherwise reasonable to provide it to you; or (iii) we will redact third parties’ Personal Data before responding. If we are unable to provide you with access to your Personal Data because disclosure would infringe the rights and freedoms of third parties, we will notify you of this decision. 
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal data; 
  • Request deletion of personal data in certain circumstances; 
  • Restrict or object to certain processing activities; 
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and 
  • Submit complaints to the competent data protection authority. 

 

We will contact you for additional information if we are unable to verify your identity, the scope of your request is unclear or does not provide sufficient information for us to conduct a search (for example, this will be the case if you request “all information about me”). Once we have all the information, we need to locate your Personal Data and we will begin Processing your request. 

Applicable Law may allow or require us to refuse to act on your request, or we may have destroyed, erased, or made your Personal Data anonymous in accordance with our record retention obligations and practices. If we determine that your request does not have a legal basis, we reserve the right to not further process your request and we will inform you of this decision. 

(ii) Marketing and Opting-In and Opting-Out 

You have the choice to opt-out from receiving marketing communications from Pay10. 

You may change your preferences at any time and Pay10 provides the opportunity to opt-out of receiving direct marketing communications from us in any direct email marketing communication that you receive from us. 

11. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse. 

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. As a result, Pay10 cannot guarantee the security of any Personal Data you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. 

12. Visitors

We consider you as a Visitor if you visit Pay10 premises other than as a Pay10 employee or individual contractor. When visiting Pay10 premises, you may be asked to input personal information and register as a visitor using a visitor management system. During this registration, you may be also asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement. 

This information is used to ensure the safety of individuals within Pay10 premises and to safeguard information that is shared with you during your visit at Pay10 premises. 

13. Changes to This Privacy Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page together with the revised effective date.
